Jess's Favorite Thing: Motor City Gritty Sweatshirt Smoke Grey

Jess is our gift and seasonal buyer.  She is responsible for a large array of skus that you may see while shopping in the store.  Her proudest items in the current line-up include Sink the Floater (DARE YOU TO CLICK ON IT) and of course anything Spooky (we know Spooky Season has past but it's her most favorite category to buy for).  This year has been a tough one for Jess as she has been battling a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 37.  Although its been tough she has gotten through the hardest parts.  One of the best ways to get through something hard in life is to have something to look forward to....well for her that includes Sunday Lions games.  Just like our Lions, Jess is full of grit and is determined to overcome her current situation.

One of Jess's most iconic memories from working at Leon & Lulu involves a fuzzy purple hippo and a broken legged culprit.  A normal day at work turned dark when she noticed a suspicious looking "customer in a cast" from her desk in the upstairs offices.  She watched the customer hobble outside with an unpaid for Jellycat Hippo.  After some investigation and a lap around the building her and a co-worker discovered the "customer" hiding in their car.  The culprit jetted away after being discovered and almost crashed in their escape attempt.  They got the license plate number and the police involved.  Overall, it was a memorable day for sure (no harm came to anyone in the making of this memory, well maybe the hippo, we are unsure how it ended for him)
