Small in size, often no more than an inch, these butterfly-looking moths are from the family of Geometridae. Broken down in Ancient Greek, it means ‘Earth’ + ‘ Measure,’ for their caterpillars move as if measuring the land, hence the nickname Inchworm Moth.
