Meet the woman behind it all, our fearless leader, Mary Liz.  She has a knack for finding all the things that you can't find anywhere else.  Low and behold, the magical happy Hoptimists!  They bounce, wiggle and wobble all while making you smile.  Smiles are contagious, ya know.  

The classic Hoptimist Bumble is the quintessence of smiles, optimism and good humor. With its bright and cheerful colors and round and modern look, it's sure to spread joy wherever it is.

Firmly convinced in the power of smiles, Gustav Ehrenreich created the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s. The aim was to design a figurine that would remind everyone of the importance of remaining positive and optimistic. With the 1960s marked by disturbing events, the joy of Ehrenreich’s design was welcome in a rather turbulent period.
